Martini Extra Wet

A bright morning turning duller and colder later.

Spent the morning preparing for Sunday and reading. Lunch in Broughty Ferry and a walk down by the Front. The little rowing boat, with its name Martini Extra Wet, caught my eye, along with the Lifeboat. You can see the two Tay Bridges in the background.

I then went to the Optician's for an eye test. It doesn't seem a year since the last one but apparently it is exactly a year to the day. Many and varied were the tests and fortunately my eyes seem healthy enough but the prescription has changed a bit. The job of choosing new frames is made more difficult by the fact I can hardly see without my own glasses. Still, we finally settled on a pair which seemed to look fine, according to Eleanor.

Tonight, what was meant to be child minding, has turned into a sleep over at my Grandchildren's request. Happily, there will be all the fun of Comic Relief to watch on television.
