Carvery
After quite a late night (MrM was playing with a jazz band in Berwick), a very early morning! Up at 5.00am, packed the car, and set off to Kelvinside in Glasgow to set up our musical instrument stall at the 'Banjo Mandolin Guitar Festival '16'.
At the end of the afternoon, after a busy day spent talking to (and in MrM's case playing with) musicians, we packed everything up again and drove to Dumbarton, about 12 miles away, to our accommodation for the night - a dog-friendly Travelodge. As soon as all the instruments were stowed away safely in our room, and Louie had eaten his tea, MrM and I took our lives into our hands and crossed the dual carriageway in search of food for ourselves.
The blip was taken as rather an afterthought after we'd eaten at a carvery. The dessert menu there was quite limited, four items in all, and caused some amusement as it included Strawberry Angel Delight. I was quite tempted to have some (but didn't), if only for old times' sake - reckon the last time I tasted Angel Delight was more than, er, 40 years ago...
And so to bed.
