Another Stroll

A busy Sunday.

Domestic stuff in the morning - mostly the garden.

Out on the campaign trail in the afternoon. 2 hours going door to door asking the same two questions. Well, fresh air and exercise.

The political situation in Turkey has been a worry for a while. It got worse today.

So, I reminded myself of happier times. The Turkish Airlines magazine is from 2007. I think I kept it because of the cover feature about balloon trips in Cappadocia. In Turkish it's Kapadokya - much easier.

We'd done one of those balloon trips that summer. It was spectacular, but I wouldn't do it again. The wind strength got up while we were in the air. The pilot struggled to get us down safely. It was rough. Someone could have been seriously hurt.
