"Hello in There"

Just looking deeply into this droplet on a hyacnyth our on my deck reminded me of John Prine singing "Hello in There".......kind of like looking deeply into one's aging eyes...of strangers you pass who are alone in their own worlds....the loneliness that can be carried by by older folks in our society...just waiting for "someone to say hello in there,"  Something to remember when you are passing by and wonder should I say hello ...should I say a kind word?...sometimes that jesture can make a world of difference to a lonely soul that day. song Hello in There

Weather --wind storm on the way that may have winds up to 70mph...yikes I'm hoping not.  A busy day and frustrating one trying to get some things settled with R's dad...he may be sent home and his mom isn't really able to do this care and their moble home isn't set up for it....lots of talking to staff at hospital...other family...but no one is listening....I went through this with my own folks so can really sympathise with Big R.  Time will tell..more calls tomorrow.
