Takeoff!

After a grey and chilly start, the sun came out this afternoon - a little cooler than the last couple of days, but Dolly and I were still able to spend some time in our lounger in the garden - with the help of jumpers, a blanket, a hat and a hot cup of tea!

Later on we ventured back to 'our' lake for a walk. We haven't been there for quite awhile because of all the mud, but today it was just about OK for Dolly's little paws! It was good to be back - it's such a beautiful place, right on our doorstep, and particularly delightful when the sun sets.
