Springburn Winter Gardens

A Derelict Sunday  Monday shot.


I had a gut feeling that they hadn't locked the gate again. The remains of the building are all fenced in to keep us out.   I found it open once before.  And I was right today!


10 minutes inside to take a few pictures.  I've posted 3 of them but don't tell anyone you saw them.

It opened in 1898

For as long as I can remember there have been campaigns on the go to have it restored.  But so far without success.   In the 'Buildings at Risk' register its listed as  - 
'Condition  -      Ruinous'
'Category of Risk  -   Critical'
