Freiburg Minster

Today we drove across the border into Germany and spent a very pleasant couple of hours in Freiburg.  The cathedral dates from around 1200 and is the main feature of Cathedral Square.  It is a very impressive building but as there was a service in progress we weren't able to go insides.  However the midday bells were incredible to listen to.  We then stopped off at Colmar in France before driving back to Strasbourg for our flight home.
