The Peak District - Biggin

We had to go to the Peak District today to collect Lucy at the end of her Duke of Edinburgh expedition and as the sun was shining we went early and had a lovely day enjoying the gorgeous scenery. We picked Lucy up about 4pm and found a nice pub and had a meal. She's really enjoyed the expedition despite Friday's bad weather!

I was really hoping to see some butterflies but despite the sunshine and all the wild flowers I didn't see any at all. I did see a huge dragonfly though - about 4 inches long...nearly blipped that but in the end I prefered the landscape shot!

Back to reality now though, need to sort Rob's uniform and PE kit and get some ironing done.
