Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly

What a lovely surprise to see and photograph this small tortoiseshell on my blip walk this morning! I was actually watching some Goldcrests and Long-tail Tits along the reservoir when I saw the flash orange out of the corner of my eye. I thought it was another tiny bird at first until I realised it was a butterfly!! Well spring is definitely on the way, and dare I even say summer is too!!
Also saw and heard loads of wrens but decided not blip another one. They are on my Flickr along with a Cormorant and a Dartford Warbler.
