40 Winks

Another nice day here with lots of bird activity going on.
It's been one of those days when I've taken lots of photos but nothing has stood out. TheAphid like this one and it's straight out of camera, no faffing or fartnarkling.
Looks like these male mallards on the pond haven't found mates yet. I did see some males ones pursuing a single female on the reservoir yesterday. I wonder if it was them and she told them what for? Or maybe she's arranged to see them one at a time later on? I'll have to read up about them and report back.
