Just a Big Pussycat?

My first visit to Chester Zoo this year, and one of many to come. I now have annual membership, so can visit anytime of the year.

This is a Sumatran Tiger, and they were moved to a new, larger, enclosure  last year.

The animals at the zoo are on the endangered list and there is much breeding internationally to try and preserve some of these species.

It's great to visit when it's quieter, as you can spend much more time watching the animals behaviour, without feeling you're hogging the best views.
