Spent far too long online today, inspired by the genealogy course I started yesterday.  However I did find a couple of documents that I hadn't seen before, so it wasn't an entirely wasted day.  The weather wasn't as good as I'd hoped, so it was easy to stay inside.

In the evening my friend from schooldays phoned, and we had a very long chat, which was lovely.
