Red

I am trying to get an accurate image of the dahlia and true red. It is hard to photograph red. Any tips?
I took 9, discarded 9, tried again and now the light is fading so this will have to do. I will have another go with different light another day.

My camera is working " most " of the time. Still temperamental but better than not working at all. A mystery.
