GLASS WINDOWS

I like the patterns in it. I put an extraordinary colour on. For the Abstract Thursday Challenge, which is hosted fabulously by youoregon1/, and I admire the gently and instructive comments he gives.
The day started rather early. Piet Hein, just after seven, brought me tea and went for a short walk around. After breakfast he suggested we would go for a walk in the morning, take a sandwich with us, and he even knew what path he wanted to go.
The weather so promising, so I hesitated not for a moment.
We drove to the farm Gründefeld and from there we walked up hill.
When we came at a shed, there was a path at the left side of the little stream. It happened not to be on the map, and at the other side there was no path, but only a meadow (where we could have walked further).
We decided to walk the path, and it was a pretty one, but eventually there came more and more obstacles in the form of bushes, brambles and the like. The path had ended, but we struggled on. Climbing higher and higher, till we reached the open fields of the Hölleberg.
Two women with a dog stood there and asked us if we had seen their other dog, who had disappeared. The were shouting his or her name. Their dog did not answer.
Not far far from there we sat on a bench with panorama view, for a rest.
The sport airstrip at our back.
We took a path around it and then we descended the hill through a valley, called Silberloch, and following a little stream the Höllebach.
That part of our trip was really paradise, quiet and green, so wonderfully sunny. Lying on a slope, eating our sandwich, drinking applejuice.
I saw today the first white and also a coloured butterfly. How amazing is that!
We reached the farm again and went home.

My haiku:

If you go where the
Wind is blowing you, you hope
For a soft landing

And the proverb<

When the wind veers against the sun, trust it not, for back 'twill run.
