Into the mountains

Popped into &Collective gallery this evening in Bridge of 
Allan to see Susie Leiper’s new exhibition.
Immediately I was struck by the Oriental feel of the work, well that is not surprising since Susie, now based in Edinburgh, spent her early years in Hong Kong.
 
She has a passion for mountains and this is reflected in her new exhibition.


Today she is regarded as one of Britain’s leading calligraphers and she is known for her innovative use of the Chinese brush as a writing tool.
 
Well worth a visit if you are out and about over Easter.
