Day out.

I've been on a little outing today to near the sea.

It was a lovely drive over and the sun shone most of the day.

I had a nice day. I met some new and interesting people and all will leave their mark on me, each in different ways.

It was a really good day but ended with two magpies in the garden, one for sorrow two for joy. I'd been waiting for some good news and was sure it would come now given i'd seen the magpies.

It wasn't to be. I received the news but not the result i wanted.

I did however receive this little gift for my assistance today which was a nice surprise. As I've given chocolate up for lent it will wait until Easter - next weekend.
