Feeding time

To cheer myself up after watching my football team lose rather dismally, I went out into the Woodland Trust reserve half a mile away.

It was fairly dark, and a little chilly, and there were quite a few boisterous and noisy dogs around, so I didn't expect to see much. I was lucky. The jays were flying around (although they didn't settle with the light in the right direction). Squirrels were going about their business. There were quite a few birds on the feeders in the middle of the wood.

But my most intriguing shot was in the car park, with this trio on the feeders.

I love the long tailed tit - so charming. I quite like the expression on the bluetit. But I'm puzzled at the chappie on the left. Any ideas ?
