Compton Verney

I've had a lovely day.  The sun shone, so I headed off to Compton Verney, in Warwickshire.  I knew there was a "Shakespeare in Art" exhibition and it was a place I've never visited.

The exhibition was really good - but the star of today was the park and gardens.  Good old Capability Brown had really done his stuff, adding the rolling landscape to replace the baroque gardens, and putting in pretty bridges and stunning lakes.

I even got a treecreeper shot too.
