The first egg

To Trentham Gardens - a first for us. Why an interesting place. We will have to go when there is more colour.

I took quite a lot of pics of the many sculptures, of which there are lots of splendid examples. An example is in the extras (fairies are everywhere, very appealing to all the parents with young kids).

But on a heavily overcast day, it was this swan and her first egg that I liked the best. She seemed contemplative - other eggs may have been on their way.
