Kudu corner
This mornings walk (which was rather hot) was rather lovely as we saw impala and kudu - who even stood still enough to have their picture taken.
Kudu are just fantastic at melting away, they don't seem to run or make any fuss, just disappear super quietly. The other day I saw a kudu bottom disappear into the bush without making a noise. Just before the wildebeest stampede took place. Funnily enough, the kudu this morning were at what is known as kudu corner.
This evening we went to some engagement drinks for some of Dirks friends. The plan was to then go out for pizza, which ended up being a rubbish bag of chips from Nando's. We've had better dates in our time. We got home to find my father in law still up. My mother in law was also out (later than us), the theory for him being up was that he would only be disturbed once rather than twice by the dogs barking as we arrived home. It's an odd logic.
