Champion!

Another whirlwind day.  But we left the ballet at the second intermission to watch Nik’s team compete in the Parks Department championship.. Great choice!  Nik felt “like crap” with a bad cold and got up off the couch to make the game they knew was going to be very tough.   It was a great game!  Nik’s team finally tied for the first time halfway thru the 4th quarter and went on to win by 5 points, I think.  (More fun than the ballet)   At the very end I asked for a pix with the medal and his response….  “for the blip?”   So here you go, Niklas…. We really do love watching your basketball games.  go back to your couch and feel better ! 

took too many photos, and don’t have time to pick for flickr, but putting a few in the extras, including this team.. Don’t you just love the disparity in size of 13 year old boys?   Those little guys can dribble close to the floor thru anything but need the bigger guys to take the shots.


And now I’ve got to get organized to go to the island in the morning…. Will catch up from there!
