Tom

the new man in the poultry scene is Tom the scots grey cockerel. Hes a happy fellow and is looking after his ladies well. He has a lovely tuneful crow (our last one was a little less tuneful!). They are enjoying being let out of the pen today.

Today husband and I caught up on jobs on our own farm instead of rushing off to work for other people. We have tidied up the shed ready for lambing and put out a bale of silage with the lambing ewes. We still have a bit of clearing out to make the pallet maternity ward but its getting there. Both pretty tired now and have decided to call it an early day and go inside and relax. We plan to watch The Martian tonight with some popcorn and of course doggy cuddles!! Well my backs sore so off for a bath now.
