Bitter/Sweet - Palm Sunday

As Holy Week begins, we were invited to taste the bitter lemon first, then some chocolate.

Whilst we did this, some themes to think about :-

Bitter taste : reflect on what Jesus gave up for you. Reflect on what God has forgiven you for.

Sweet taste : thank God that Jesus rose again. Thank God for the things He has given to you.

I also recalled our trip to Israel, several years ago now. The distance Jesus rode on the donkey was quite short, perhaps less than a mile. I had always thought it must have been much further.

More than 17,500 steps today = over 8 miles. Pleased with that.
