Day 17 - Ashhurst Palmerston North

Happy birthday to me!
Was strange opening my cards on the 21st in New Zealand but it was still only the 20th in the UK I felt like I was cheating a little bit. After a little lie in me and Tom decided to walk the gorge. When I looked at pictures I was so excited, until I got there! And realised it was all up hill I have never been so unfit in my whole life! But once near the top me made it to the wakamaka tin man, which I assumed to be human size, nope it was about 30ft high! After the hike we went for a little swim to cool off and had a calzone pizza with alioi in (my new fav sauce)

Not been a bad day at all :)
