Breaking Alder

After all the excitement of yesterday, today was always going to be a little more mundane though still an opportunity to celebrate newness.

Mother and new son are still in hospital.  They are waiting for the young man to have his first pee.  Imagine over a day without a pee - when he gets to my age hardly an hour will pass .....  and he is already demonstrating how difficult it is to perform such an act to order.
