The demise of a helmet.

With spring like weather upon us, Harry and I have been back out on our bikes. Harry had forgotten - over the winter months - how super cool his new bike and helmet are, and was very glad to be re-united with them. Sadly, post our first outing of the year, he did not put his bike correctly on its stand .....and bike, plus helmet went crashing to the floor. No damage to the bike. But the helmet (see shot above) fared less well. 
So, an emergency visit to the local bike shop for a replacement helmet was required. New replacement Specialized youth helmet now purchased, in rather cool tones of orange, red and black. H is very pleased; I am very much poorer!
