A spot of "fencing" for Merlot

I know you are thinking - Couldn't he be more imaginative than taking another picture of his cat ? Well I did take a number of pictures in the garden today including primroses & flowering currant but, (you know) none of them were a patch on the pictures of Merlot - so I'm sorry about that !

Preparation & painting today which seemed to take a long time. It will need another coat & so I will do this tomorrow afternoon as I'm seeing Mum in the morning.

The extra is of one of two Big Birds which flew over this afternoon.
