Love on Lake Lugano

.... the mating season is more advanced in the Ticino! Extra photo taken from one of the "runnels" of Morcote on the edge of the lake. It is so long since we visited this area that we had forgotten how tiny the roads are. The tourist season must create gridlock along the lakeside.

We returned home tonight after a spectacular drive over the Simplon Pass to the terrible news of the Brussels bombing. To the families of those affected, it seems that the world should stop, yet it goes on, oblivious to their grief. My heart goes out to them.
