Hide and Seek Herons

There are always too many branches in the way in the main Rhone Valley heronry but recently a number of nests have appeared next to a pond near the motorway. So I thought I would try there. I did feel a bit daft carrying tripod and long lens towards the motorway sliproad even if I was on a path. I wondered if I could be arrested for causing a distraction so near the motorway so, only 2 shots then I was gone.
