Peewit and Poo

I went up to the moorland fringe to see if I could get a photo of a Lapwing - I seem to remember saying to Muddyshoes that I would post one. I'm hoping this link to the call will work.The field where I know they are to be found had recently undergone muck spreading. The birds didn't seem to mind - I expect there are plenty of insects in the muck. 
Of course there were plenty of Curlew around - see extras.
