Minnie Mouse

This rubbish quality photo is the only photo I have of her doing the Sports Relief mile, so I am very grateful to her classmate's mum for sending me the video it came from. She was dressed as Minnie Mouse, complete with two buns for ears, a handmade skirt and her old tap shoes. She twirled most of the way round the course, apparently. 

Before the mile, they had a class trip to the city's Gurdwara. She was surprised at the size of it and the teachers hadn't told them they would be expected to wear headscarves - thankfully, they found that quite exciting. She was fascinated by the gigantic pans that the kitchen had and the special bed for Sikh holy book. 

After school, I met her with the baby again and we walked to her extra piano lesson. She did very well and the baby was fascinated. We all went home for a fairly early tea and both children went to bed by 6.30pm (unheard of for this particular baby, essential for Katie the night before her first piano solo!)
