Excited

I hardly slept last night as I kept waking up thinking I had slept in. I think I was a bit excited as I knew I had to be at the house before 8 to meet Steve. That's right - today is the day the builders start work.
I gave Steve a key and made them all a cuppa before heading home as I had loads to do. I managed to tick quite a few things of my to do list, so mom and I decided to pop to Merry Hill. On the way I stopped off at the house to pay Steve the first instalment and I was amazed by how much they had done in a few hours (so surprised I forgot to take a photo). 
At merry hill I treated myself to a holdall for my holiday. I still had a voucher left Stu's Mom and Dad gave me for my birthday so technically I didn't spend any money.
This evening Stu and I popped back to the house so he could have a look (and had a play with some wirewool).  All I can say is things definitely happen quicker when you are paying someone else to do it!
