Fledging time !

Mrs B had to put up with constant chirping today, as baby blackbird number one has found his (or her) feet, and, voice !

Parents are still bringing food, but the young are getting mobile !

The nest is in our honeysuckle bush, which is directly up against our patio doors, which means we've been limiting our trips out the back. It also explains the poor quality of the snap, since it's through two panes of glass and from behind a curtain with white lining, great for providing that foggy whiter-than-white background.

Still, looks like Mr and Mrs Blackbird have had success in raising the kids. If there's a chance to get a better pic, I will. But for now, we're leaving them in peace as much as we can.
