Wild Turkey Delight

A few days ago, someone blipped a wild turkey and remarked on how beautiful they are.  There is no shortage of them around here and they follow me like puppy dogs.  I think the dullness of the day helped to show off this handsome male's iridescent plumage. 

Today is my sister's birthday.  As I get older, I find it so difficult to be separated and realize how much time we have lived apart?  It is a strange feeling really.  As we are only 11 months apart (!), we were raised more like fraternal twins and were quite close.  One never knows where your life journey takes you...
