Chick-a-dee-dee-dee

The Black Capped Chickadee is such a common wee bird around Canada.  Their distinctive call identifies them easily and I call them the Ambassadors of the Woods as they love to flit out to greet you (and see if you have something for them!).

My son has received his first posting and will be leaving May 13th for further training in Halifax.  Gulp!  

Sorry for the lack of comments ~ I am so busy at the moment and all I can manage is to "oooh" and "aaah" at photos as I quickly glimpse at them.  I will get back on track soon....
