Catkins

I spotted these catkins in my friends garden when I walked her Boxer dogs this afternoon.  I blipped them a couple of months ago when they were purple.  Not much purple left now :)  I thought they were quite pretty.

There's been some work going on along the road out of the village, the grass verge has been dug up and pipes are being laid.  I was hoping and hoping that it was for fibre broadband so asked one of the workmen who confirmed it indeed is, woo hoo!!
