Fountains Abbey

To help break up the return journey to Edinburgh, we stopped at Fountains Abbey in Ripon. 

It's always great to spend time with the family but we never know where we're likely to see them next.

The kids were awake almost the entire journey back, with the wee man passing out just as we arrived in Edinburgh. Thankfully I was able to transfer gin straight to bed but the wee lady was wide awake for another couple of hours.
