Two musicians

Deep in talk, in a lull in our rehearsal, Jonathan Cohen and John McIntosh discuss music - Il Tabarro, if memory serves - in the Cathedral of The Isles. We've had a music-filled three days, singing a different set of canticles, different anthems - all for three voices - and plainsong psalms at three Evensongs. Sometimes it's been nerve-racking; sometimes it's simply been beautiful, and I've enjoyed myself hugely. Three days, two nights - it wasn't long enough. I was just settling into the rhythm of singing and prayer.

But if I'm honest, I don't know if my stamina would hold up ...
