Jackrabbit

Every time I called a rabbit a bunny , our 9 year old desert critter  authority informed me that bunnies are baby rabbits and I was looking at an adult.  He was in school for this walk though , and I would have been correct this time . It was a baby  jackrabbit. the adults were quite a bit larger , and quite a bit faster.:)  
The extra is a curve billed thrasher.
