Ladybird

Finally - a couple of days of good weather! The garden no longer looks like abandoned wasteland. It's amazing how much effect a mowed lawn and a couple of hours with a pear of secateurs can have, A bit of sun in which to sit out and enjoy it would be splendid if someone could arrange that...

While doing some weeding I cam across a lovely toad - just a common one, but great amber colours around the eyes. He was rather skittish and disappeared before I could get hold of the camera. This ladybird on the other hand was wondering over this leaf quite contentedly. Never stopped, so not the sharpest but I thought it was quite fun.
