The Upper Room.......

...The Passover meal, the Last Supper, Maundy Thursday....a special meal remembered and still celebrated, as it should be. An important moment in the Easter story. We went to a service at church this evening and were reminded of its significance again. Tomorrow we will join others for the Good Friday walk along the high street...
 
I love this representation of the meal; the individuality of the faces of the disciples, their 'humanity' , the detail of the table....so simple, so real.
 
Otherwise the day was taken up with a visit to St George's Hospital in Tooting for another consultation about an ongoing jaw problem. I'll be back there again in about 6 weeks for treatment. The journey was OK but the near 2 hour wait to be seen wasn't. Good job we took our books! 
 
Term ended today but I missed it. I am sure it went well and everyone is enjoying the 'no tomorrow' feeling that comes with such occasions.
