Broken!

Under my desk is the missing finger from this Milepost which was recovered and brought in for me. Today on the way in to work I took some photos to see what had happened.

It was odd to see all that mortar or 'no more nails' as it shouldn't be there. I think it has been damaged in the past, there were construction works here a couple of years ago, and it has been surreptitiously repaired by whoever damaged it.

For the eagle eyed out there it's on NCN 5, the Rea Valley, at the crossing of Dogpool Lane.
