Roof Repairs

We've had problems for years with water coming in above a velux window. Today the roofer worked for several hours on a major repair. We hope this time it will be successful. I liked the texture combination of these "Stanley Snip" cutters on a plank of wood.

Sad goodbye's to our US friends as they travel home, but promises to meet again soon. They only had one sunny day in their 16 day trip. The Royal Stewart tartan brolly purchased on Day 1 was put to good use.

And at last, a skype conversation with #2 in Japan. The connection wasn't great and there was quite a delay, but it was good to see him and hear about some of his adventures.

We had a very busy weekend touring Glasgow City Centre and also the Trossachs. Two backblips :-
