Haway the lads....

A bright start, but by 10am the forecast was right and the rain and wind started.
A trip into Edinburgh to drop Mrs F and 2 juniors off to catch the train to London for their Easter break. Haven't been in town for a while, but already quite a lot of tourists going about. And why not, Edinburgh is a beautiful city,
Helped them onto the Virgin train with their luggage, but made sure I got off in time before I ended up in Berwick !
Back home to a wet and windy day. Had to get the vet to a sick cow,but he wasn't sure what was wrong with her.
A pal borrowed our dung spreader to muck out his sheep shed, but I wondered why he had washed it when it came back. Turns out the brake hose had burst covering the spreader and tractor with oil and leaving him with no oil in the back end.of the tractor! That's another trip to get a hose sorted next week then !
Tonight's Blip is the name of the rear engine on the train today. There were 14 coaches plus the buffet car and an engine at each end,a fair old length.
The extra photo made me smile while crossing the station too. Would have been cheaper to take the dogs and leave the kids at home !
