Spring in Scotland....

Back to normal today. Hills are white and its baltic cold. Went to St Boswells with 5  Angus X  bullocks. Thought the landrover was toiling going up Soutra. The 2 heavy ones turned out to be 630 Kilos each so maybe that explains the slow progress ! They made £1310 before costs so not too bad.
Took the landrover to my mechanic pal for it's 20K mile service. He was having a bad day,as after draining the engine oil he filled it with 7.5L of new oil only to discover he he'd forgotten to put the drain plug back in. So 7.5 L of oil came straight back out the sump again ! 
Much swearing later the service was done,and by the time I got back home about 5pm,all the snow was away again. Still baltic though. Typical lambing weather !
