Easter
Mum seemed pleased with the chocolate Easter bunnies although was looking a little more anxious as they advanced (extra).
We watched the boat race on my iPad (which was on the tv behind so she couldn't see it ). She was convinced of a Cambridge win. I was thinking I'll try her on the horses next.
That aside, it is crippling, particularly when she says, 'Don't leave me'.
The late sun and long shadows across a beautifully peaceful Easter Sunday Norfolk landscape were the last straw as I headed back to their empty death quiet home.
In other news, it was a brisk start to the Easter races at Overy this morning (second extra) - this race very appropriately called The Shipwrecked Mariners cup! The chap in the foreground had just capsized, and there were many more.
As I headed to Norwich I was overtaken by the 'freespiral effect' and lunged off piste onto a road with grass down the middle called 'Well Road' but didn't find one and it led nowhere (third extra).
