Rural Charm
After a boozy night in Lalinde we all slept late. Today we've been invited to a friend of B&K's for lunch in the country. The house is owned by a British builder but Jo will be our host as she is house-sitting while he's away on holiday in Hawaii. It was a beautiful spacious house with a few acres of land and a swimming pool. The interior was reminiscent of the French provence style except from the large drum kit in the living room. Apparently the guy who owns it is a bit of a hippy and throws a good party every summer. We were joined for lunch by Jo's Mum Ann, Jules and Margo and Archie the dog who I fell in love with. He belongs to Jo and was a poodle/terrier cross who bared an uncanny resemblance to Snowy from Tin Tin. Keith managed to take a nice shot of me with Archie which I would have liked to have used but I'll have to wait until September to get a copy so I'll upload it to my FB page instead.
