Student led-conferences

Dexter tried his best to show us his class and explain his work and progress, but I think it was a bit much for him. He is right where he needs to be at this stage so there are no worries.
Olivia, on the other hand, is the right age for student led conferences, I feel, for this and impressed us with her presentation. She worked really hard on her digital portfolio and her presentation took 30 minutes before we sat with her class teacher for 20 minutes. She seems to be shining and maturing this year and we're both very happy with the education she has received so far. The French teachers were full of praise for both kids and Olivia's Art teacher was very honest as she struggles to finish her work on time. A case of having more confidence in her own ability is needed rather than starting again and again.

All in all we're as proud as punch of both of them!
