The first cut is the deepest

So, raining again this morning.I proposed a walk through the vineyards and then we could go along the lake this afternoon in the sunshine.
So we were walking along quite happily and then Lizzie tripped over. Lots of blood and pain, Went off to the permanance, we pay lots for our medical insurance in CH, but it is very good. So big gash on wrist which needed lots of stitches before it stopped bleeding, a finger that wasn't broken but totally out of line, needed xrays and anaesthetic and another xray to make sure doctor had put it back into shape. 

And it was Lizzie's ring finger so wedding ring had to come off to stop swelling - had to be cut in two unfortunately - still 25th anniversary this year, so maybe a good excuse for a new one :-)

Then off to Lausanne for the drugs, A fun day, But could have been worse :-)

ps, when Liz saw doctor approaching with big metal cutters, she thought he was going to cut her whole finger off !
