Day 88 of 366 - St Catherine's Well!

Today's image was taken early this afternoon in the Coundon area of Coventry. It is a view of St Catherine's Well. This Grade II listed building is without doubt the oldest structure in Coundon and stands in the middle of a residential area. It is situated between a couple of houses and is fenced off and inaccessible. Not a lot is really known about this structure. It is said that this Red Sandstone building dates back to the early 15th Century. It is also said that this Well was once used to supply water to the nearby area of Spon End.

The photo was taken using the App ExposerGL on my iPhone 6.

First I used the app Snapseed to edit the image. I cropped the image and then applied the Tonal Contrast preset. I then applied a little extra warmth and saturation to the picture. Next I used the app DistressedFX to add the Birds as an overlay and the Charm texture. I flattened the image then added the Stirred overlay and the Vanilla texture. Finally I used AltPhoto to apply the Warm Colour Film preset to the image.
